Announcing 'The Aliveness Oasis'
Curious exploration is possible only when you start from where you are, rather than where some maps tell you you should be.
Curious exploration is possible only when you start from where you are, rather than where some maps tell you you should be.
The second you dip your toes in to inner work, it feels like wave after wave of complication rushes up, urging you to learn this meditation technique, these 5 breathing techniques, this set of sacred texts, this new shadow work technique. It's easy to get overwhelmed and lost in the weeds - to absorb a riot of external agendas and feel like you're falling behind in someone else's race.
The Aliveness Oasis is a place where we can take 6 weeks to step back into the simplicity beneath practice. To rediscover the stance of resting in basic curious aliveness, where exploration can really begin. Exploration doesn't come from following someone else's list of techniques and protocols, but from approaching your own direct ecstatic experience with a sense of curiosity and play.
We’ll be playfully exploring a variety of practices, stances, and frameworks for deepening into life, and we'll continuously anchor back to the sturdy joy of simplicity. A few of the things we'll explore together are:
• Breathing
• Feeling
• Somatic Resonance
• Open Awareness
• Mythopoetic Cognition
• Daydreaming
• Metabolic Journaling
• Patterning Your Environment
Each week, we'll pair up two ways of attending to experience and explore them together. As we go through the weeks, you may drop some that don't catch on with you, keep exploring others that bring you joy, and continue playing with the interactions between practices.
Coming out of this container, you'll have begun an ecology of sturdy simplicity you can ground your life in by finding what works and tending to it.
I want to be clear from the start, the cohort I'll be running starting May 30 will be a small beta version to test approaches - to see what works and what needs work. Because it's a beta, a few things are true:
• I'd appreciate participants who are excited to help with the formation of something new, and who can provide feedback on the course as they go through.
• This cohort will be cheaper than later ones.
• Participants of the beta will be invited to participate in future cohorts for free, and will have access to all future updates of the content.
If this sounds like a good arrangement, I'd love to have you. If you'd prefer to participate in a more polished version of The Aliveness Oasis, I'll probably be running one in a few months. Regardless, I hope to cross paths with all of you soon. ❤️🔥

Inteterested. What day of the week will group calls be taking place??
I'm excited to try this! I've felt like there's something real in this somatic resonance work, but I've had trouble accessing it on my own.
