have you read some of the stuff matthew remski has written about trungpa? it's brutal stuff, he seems to have been a really abusive teacher, so this is not surprising to me to hear unfortunately: https://matthewremski.com/wordpress/reggie-ray-spiritualizes-the-terror-of-disorganized-attachment-in-relation-to-trungpa/
I haven't read him specifically, but I've heard a lot of that Trungpa "shitty interpersonal dynamics" stuff. Eliot Weinberger wrote a thing on his relationship with Ginsberg and the way he conducted himself around poets and artists, which was v unflattering.
I left all that out of the article pretty specifically though; acting like this is only a problem with Trungpa seems disingenuous, when in a lot of ways, his teachings are par for the course, judging from a lot of other material I've read from buddhist teachers.
